| Cyclescheme Win Government TenderFriday, 22 May 2009 
Cyclescheme has won a Central Government tender that effectively templates their provision throughout the UK. The recent CLG (Communities and Local Government) open tender will be available for use by all UK contracting Authorities including, but not limited to, Government Departments and their Agencies, Non-Departmental Public Bodies, Local Authorities, Police Authorities, Fire Authorities and Educational Establishments. Gary Cooper, Co-Director of Cyclescheme, said, "This is fantastic news and is a great reward for all our efforts. It will save thousands of pounds in man hours and, being an open tender, it can be used by any applicable Government body considering a Cycle to Work scheme". Cyclescheme is the UK's number one Cycle to Work Provider and works exclusively with Independent Bicycle Dealers to provide expert, convenient and user-friendly service to the UK's employers and employees. Services to employers are provided free-of-charge including secure access to a voucher management site, expert advice and scheme marketing. Any size of scheme is catered for and Cyclescheme's reputation for fast and efficient service is gaining wide acceptance. Cyclescheme currently work with 85 Councils (approximately 20% of those present in the UK), 26 Fire and Rescue Authorities (50%) and 18 Police Authorities (29%).
