     | Custom built Trek MadonesMonday, 6 July 2009
The anticipation is over and today we are excited to announce the introduction of the new benchmark for greatness in carbon road bikes – the 2010 6 Series Madone. The best carbon road bike in the industry is truly getting better! Introducing the ALL-NEW 6 Series Madone!Three years in the making and with thousands of design hours behind it, the 2010 6 Series Madone is raising the bar yet again. Lance Armstrong and Alberto Contador are aboard these new machines during this years Tour de France. The Trek website will give you the full detail about the bikes, but a few 6 Series features should be pointed out. - A reshaped seat mast that shaves weight and adds vertical compliance.
- A new Bontrager Race XXX Lite fork with an asymmetrical steer tube design allows more frontal compliance, and improved lateral stiffness.
- Redesigned tube shapes that reduce material and save weight – combined you have a frame and fork that sheds 150g off of last year’s already svelte design!
- An entirely new cabling system that offers superior cable protection, a simpler routing path.
- A new DuoTrap sensor integrated into the frame eliminating the need for zip ties and works with all the major ANT+ wireless computers.
These bikes can be ordered today through Project One https://www.trekbikes.com/uk/en/projectone/ , for fastetst delivery you can select the default settings from the website or choose a fully customised build. Welcome to the future and the ultimate carbon road machine!
Madone 5 Series and 4 Series:Trek is still producing the original benchmark for carbon frame excellence with the Madone 5 Series. The 5 Series Madone frame that was introduced in 2008 has 3 Grand Tour titles to its name, and will remain a hugely popular design for your most discerning customer. With entirely new and exciting graphics packages, the 2010 5 Series has the look to match its performance excellence. Not to be forgotten in all this excitement are the 4 Series Madones. Designed for the budget conscious by the same talented crew that are bringing you the 5 and 6 Series bicycles, these models more than hold their own in the lineup. Featuring a stiffer bottom bracket and a lighter Bontrager Race Lite Fork, the 4 Series Madone offers an incredible ride for the value-minded. | Build your 5 Series Madone | |
