Trek Fuel EX 8 

Mountain bikers looking for an all-day, all-conditions trail bike will find the comfort, versatility and control they need in these Fuel EX bikes. With 130mm of front travel and 120mm of smooth rear travel, the Fuel EX gives an active and balanced ride that makes the perfect companion for the long haul.

• Alpha Red Aluminum frame has optimized seatstays for 2009 with cleft design mounting at the EVO Link to provide lighter weight and a stiffer overall feel than last year’s design.
  
  
• ABP (Active Braking Pivot) provides the most active suspension under braking, which gives greater control, better traction and a more balanced ride.
  
  
• Full Floater floating shock mount gives better small bump compliance, great mid stroke control and seemingly bottomless travel.
