2008 Felt RXC Race Hardtails

RXC equals Race Cross Country, and there is simply no better way to describe what these machines were designed to do. When it comes to meeting the demands of serious XC and Xterra racers, Felt RXC models set the standard for performance.

Both external and internal butting techniques are employed to reduce weight, while exaggerated tapers and muscular flares contribute to the RXC’s remarkable stiffness. Beyond that, the “Felt feel” of endurance-enhancing compliance is designed into each frame in a way that only years of forming experience and know-how can deliver. So how does carbon fiber come into play? Since the seatstays are pointed directly toward the rider, most of the terrain input is transferred from the rear wheel axle straight through the rider’s body. With carbon fiber’s inherent vibration damping characteristics, there is no better place to utilize the material than the seat stays.

For 2008, RXC geometry has been optimized around 100mm travel forks, to take advantage of today’s suspension technology. Superlight, compliant, and built for speed, RXC’s are designed around true race requirements. A long, sloping top tube, short rear end and quick, aggressive geometry all contribute to their race ability. Over the years RXC’s have delivered more than their fair share of podium finishes.

Compared to its Virtue sibling, the Compulsion features a shorter top tube, a more upright cockpit, an aluminum sub-frame, a more relaxed geometry, and stouter tubing throughout. With nearly 6 inches 145mm) of rear axle travel and a category-tuned Equilink system, you have yourself an efficient, aggressive trail & all-mountain machine.

Availability

The Felt RXC Hardtails are due into the warehouse from 30th November, the Felt Compulsion bikes are due from the 26th October, the Felt Redemption Bikes are due from the 26th October with Felt Virtue's on the same shipment.

Please allow a couple of days for delivery since all bikes are fully built and then repacked before shipment. All you need to do is re attach the handlebars and screw in the pedals. We prefer it that customers call us when they receive the bike so that we can talk  you through assembly. When ordering please ensure you provide a delivery address that has someone in during the day. All Felt bikes are shipped via our carrier and will require a signature on delivery.

Q Series Felt MTBs will be in the UK from 26th October so please call us for details.
